Monday we continued south on the Tennessee River to Pebble Isle Marina in New Johnsonville, Tennessee. This was a short 31 miles. There was beautiful scenery again on the way. The Marina staff were very friendly. Billie gives all guests homemade cinnamon rolls each morning. We walked around and saw the Johnsonville State Historic Park. There was a gorgeous sunset from the back of our boat. The bad part is the shallow water due to lack of rain and we hit some mud on the way into the marina. This story will be continued in the next blog!

Tuesday morning, after delicious cinnamon rolls made by Billie, we left on a longer router to Clifton Marina in Clifton, Tennessee. I have included some more scenic photos and homes along the way. There are many campers and RVs which sit under covered structures too. We arrived about 3:30 and made it into our slip despite fighting the wind. This marina was a little larger and had a cute restaurant. We ran into many loopers and dined with them and swapped stories of where we had been and the boat issues we have had. The restaurant also had a book for loopers to sign and leave their boat card. A few of us needed to leave early Wednesday morning to get to Safe Harbor Aqua Yacht Marina , where they have a larger boat service department, to work on some routine and other maintenance. More to come on that in the next blog which will be written in a few days since we are still here at the time of this writing waiting for a repair and waiting out the rain. All is going well though and it's a nice place to wait and recharge.
